Equivalent Fractions

Screenshot 2015-07-30 at 9.58.08 AM.png

This is my studyladder results. In this set task, I revisited Equivalent Fractions. I got 100% because I already knew my equivalent fractions. An equivalent fraction is like 6/12 and 5/10. They both equal to 1/2.

Kia Ora Andrea.
You are so smart. I also did studyladder and got 100% too. I think it is great that you are understanding equivalent fractions. What is your favourite topic in maths so far?

It's amazing how you got 100% in you tect result. I got 100% as well.
Do you understand it really well?

Hello Andrea,
It is great that you already know your equivalent fractions, so I think you need harder equivalent fractions, to answer. I also know my equivalent fractions. Is Equivalent fractions the easiest maths strategy?

Talofa Andrea,

I did the exact same game as you did and I didn't get 10/10 because I got at least 1 wrong but that's because I rushed myself to get the correct answer. I really like doing equivalent fractions because they are really easy to do. What does 2/4 and 8/16 equal to?

I think that it is excellent that you got 100 percent in your studyladder. It must of been easy to revise your equivalent fractions since you got 100 percent. I think that you should move on to mixed numbers and challenge your self a bit harder. Who taught you how to do equivalent fractions?

Hi Yazmin
So far, my favourite subject in maths is adding and subtracting fractions and mixed fractions.

Hi Wesley
I think I understood equivalent fractions because I got 100%.

Hi Leilani
I think equivalent fractions is easy and I also think I need harder equivalent fractions.

Hi Petuana
It is interesting that you played the same game. The answer to both of your questions is 1/2. 2/4 = 1/2 and 8/16 = 1/2.

Hi Tane
The person who taught me equivalent fractions is Mrs. Ramkolowan. She made sure I had a good understanding of equivalent fractions so I can move up to the next stage.

Thanks for the friendly feedback.
