This is the addition and subtraction game. It gave me five questions of addition and subtraction problems. For me, this game was really simple. I was given other similar problems and they were much more harder. I had fun playing this game because These were really easy.

Studyladder - Line and Pie

WALT: solve line and pie problems.

This studyladder activity taught me Line and pie. It gave me series of questions and only a few of them were hard. From the evidence above, I got 90/100% right. Number 4 was the hardest one for me. I think it was because I couldn't understand the problem so I forced myself to to guess the answer which was obviously wrong. I had fun doing this activity but next time, I am positive I will get 100%

Maori Art

I was inspired by Raewyn Harris. Raewyn Harris is a teacher and an artist from Hawkes Bay. I tried to make it as similar as possible but I wanted to add my own little touches. I had fun drawing her work and recreating it.

Takeaway Box

During technology, my teacher (Mr. Pineda), taught us all about takeaway boxes. We've done so many activities to help create this masterpiece. I had plenty of fun creating this takeaway box.

Dear  Mr Steve and Sponsors

The moment I step foot into the library, I saw the t-shirts lying on the table, just waiting for me to try one on. I was already in love with it. It was so soft and comfortable on my skin once I finally received my t-shirt.

We are super grateful to have these t-shirts. They look extremely astonishing. I’m sure that we are going to cherish these shirts and represent not only our school, but our families too. I like the choice of colour on our shirts because our main colours are black and green.

All of the students appreciate these t-shirts and we are looking forward to wearing them regularly and we would definitely wear them with pride. I also liked the idea that you put the word senior underneath the logo so students know that these t-shirts are only for the senior children. I thought that was a really smart idea.

Area and Perimeter

WALT: solve problems using perimeter and area on Studyladder.

I remember perimeter is the distance around  the shape. People would use perimeter when they are planning to build a fence around their lawn, pool, etc.

This is a game of Perimeter that I played on Study ladder. I got 2 green faces which makes me happy.

I remember area is something you’d use on a flat surface like the floor. Area is used when people putting in tiles in the restroom, bark in a playground and so much more.

This is the area worksheet that was given to the class. I also got a green face on this activity.

I think I have a good understanding of perimeter and area because of the evidence above.

I think what can extend me is if I can get better and better at this topic.
