The Pythons Dinner

WALT: work with two others to write a narrative.

One hot afternoon, an African Rock Python felt very hungry. He needed to eat. He decided to seek out his prey. The python thought that maybe most of his prey might be near a water source so he thought he had to find a lake as clear as a crystal. “Hssss,” the python was desperate for food as he slithered through the dirt. The pythons process was slow.....but steady. He finally reaches a water source. A lake in the middle of nowhere. He could hold his breath for 15 minutes then.......

The python said “ I’m ready to eat those stinky springboks”. The python waited till dawn for a springbok to arrive. The python waited and waited for the stupid springbok to arrive, but it never came. It was getting darker and the python was still waiting. “Grrrrrr”. The python's stomach was growling. Poor python was waiting too long for those springbok to arrive. He was feeling tired and almost decided to give up.

Then the next day, a huge herd of springbok rushed down to the lake like fast cheetahs. “MMMM YUMMY YUMMY, HERE THEY COME,” the python said happily. The stupid springbok stood on the edges and they drank the water for a long time. The python jumped up with its mouth open wide and swallowed the springbok. “Dinner was YUMMY”

The python was lucky enough that the springbok was big which meant that the python didn’t need to eat for another whole year.

REFLECTION: I thought that working with two other students was a great idea. It wasn't hard to work with others. It was easy and the story was finished really quickly. In my opinion, I would like to keep writing with two others.
