WALT: create a garden with a pool using square units.
I had plenty of fun during this activity. We learned the concept of area. I thought this was extremely interesting because we used the prices of real objects. I found how expensive pools are to build. I think this would be most described as easy for me because as a class, we worked out how much our pools costed. We also used a calculator to help with the multiplication.

I like that you leaned about area's. I wasn't here when you learn about area's.I was at Tamaki College for the year 8 open day I had fun. My favourite subject that I did at Tamaki College was Social study's and English. Was it easy for you to learn the area's or was it hard for you?
Kia Orana. Andrea I have checked your maths work and I think it is very simple and easy. I have did the same thing with the garden to do you like maths.
Hi Wesley
Learning area was extremely easy for me to learn. It was easy because I've done area many times before. I first learned area with Mr. Hendriks while the yr 7 & 8's were gone to technology. It was really easy. So when Mrs. Ramkolowan was teaching it, to me, it was like revising area.
Thanks for the friendly feedback Wesley
